Who is The Supreme- The Supreme Authority?

Who is the Supreme – The Supreme Authority Hare Krishna!!

Today’s modern generations are in a competitive zone. Competitions are everywhere; in every zone, field or level- society, district, national and so on. Competitions for being THE BOSS or THE LEADER are going on.

But, do we know what these competitions yield in the end?? Do we know who is The Supreme Leader at all?? Can we become The Leader by such methodologies??

Let’s get the answers by diving deep into our Vedic Scriptures!!

Diving Deep into Vedic Scriptures

In Bhagavad Gita(7.7), The Supreme Personality of Godhead, Lord Krishna says, “O conqueror of wealth, there is no truth superior to Me. Everything rests upon Me, as pearls are strung on a thread.”

In our daily lives, we assume someone or something as our role model. We think, “O, there… who could counteract him!!” For some people, they think, “Parliament or Supreme Court is the highest authority.” “This… water department is supermost. As nothing runs without water.” “Here, it is… hospital.. doctors are our Lords.” This is everywhere.

However, many great authorities like Brahmaji, Lord Shiva, Prahalada, Yuddhistira, Vyasadeva etc. have assured Lord Krishna as The Supreme Authority. Then how could we neglect the authority?

If we do not follow the state’s laws, then we are surely subjected for punishment. Similarly, if we do not accept scriptural injections and acts according to our own whims, then we are liable to neither perfection, nor happiness, nor the supreme destination, as stated in Bhagavad Gita(16.23).

Being The Supreme, Lord or Boss is not a matter of post, as suggested by the so-called advanced and educated modern culture.

Supreme Government- The Government of The Supreme Lord is not based on the principle of “Might Makes Right”. This is Krishna’s Government. Based truly on the loving reciprocation between Krishna and His devotees. Being a part of His government means being surrendered to His representative i.e. The Spiritual Master and following the bonafide process of devotional service under his guidance. Buttering up the representative is not a ritual of Krishna’s government, as practised in this material world.

Srila Prabhupada says, “You may be  Napolean, or you may be a small ant, but we want to see whether you have surrendered to Krishna or not. If not, then you’re a rascal, that’s all.” Surrenderance to the authority is a must!! That’s the need of today’s society. This is our intelligence. The real intelligence is to serve Lord Krishna under the guidance of a bonafide spiritual master. Real competitions meant to render service for the pleasure of Lord Krishna with enthusiasm, faith and confidence. That brings happiness. Otherwise, there will be sufferings, sufferings and sufferings only.

How could we be happy if our aim is not targeted in the right direction?? Let’s get ourselves be directed to the right goal. THE GOAL OF RENDERING DEVOTIONAL SERVICE TO LORD KRISHNA!!

Hare Krishna!!
