Its teaching is timeless, meaning it is applicable for everyone of us, whether in the age of satyug or kaliyuga, for our grand ancestors, or for our coming generation. Its teaching is very practical to understand; we can easily relate to our life situations.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In BG 8.15, Lord Krishna says this world is \u201cDukhalayam ashashvatam.\u201d Nothing is permanent in this world; our material bodies will perish at any point of time. This world is full of miseries. And there is not a single person who can say I am always happy. Lord Krishna says in BG 2.13 :\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201c As the embodied soul continuously passes in this body, from boyhood to youth to old age, the soul similarly passes into another body at death. A sober person is not bewildered by such a change. The one who knows this will never lament if someone passes away because he knows the truth.\u201d&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00a0These were all just a glimpse of the Bhagavad Gita and how it is so practical to understand and also to apply in our lives.
