Nobody wants to go progressing towards a negative slope. If we want to check anyone&#8217;s progress, we judge him by the qualities or qualifications he acquire. What will be the utility if there is no such qualification we have, that the company or boss need?? NO UTILITY!!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Let&#8217;s talk about this wonderful topic with scriptural insight&#8230;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<p><strong>In SB(5.18.12), it is stated &#8220;All the demigods and their exalted qualities, such as religion, knowledge and renunciation, become manifest in the body of one who has developed unalloyed devotion for the Supreme Personality of Godhead, V\u0101sudeva. On the other hand, a person devoid of devotional service and engaged in material activities has no good qualities. Even if he is adept at the practice of mystic yoga or the honest endeavor of maintaining his<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>family and relatives, he must be driven by his own mental speculations and must engage in the service of the Lord\u2019s external energy. How can there be any good qualities in such a man?&#8221;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>There are a total of 26 divine qualities, as illustrated in BG(16.1-3). We can further inquire, &#8220;Alright! but what is to be done then. What if I do not have these qualifications??&#8221; These qualities lead us to liberation. Other qualities, like as pride, arrogance, anger etc., are meant for further bondage.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Development should lead to liberation. Otherwise, it will be designated as &#8216;development by name&#8217; only. Today, civilisation is leading to progress with godlessness. Godlessness means no divine qualifications. Simple meaning: NO Development.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>How is it possible????<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Let us understand it by an analogy. If we are residing near with dirt and dust, then we will get contaminated. If we associate with a nice godly person, then we will automatically acquire his features. Same as, if we keep farther away from The Supreme Lord, then we will get contaminated by going away from transcendence. We will, for sure,<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>keep contact with non- divinity. Our progress, then, will be affected with our non-divine mentality, our bodily consciousness. Progress in bodily conception is NO progress. Real progress is to become tuned with the auspiciousness. Then, all the divine qualifications we will acquire for sure.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Then what will happen??? Real development. While seeking for real development, we can move towards the topic of character building. In muddy progressiveness, where is the question of character building???
